Flexcut is a brand well known and still relatively young compared to a lot of other knife carving companies of it’s kind, but by no means is it to be overlooked. If you’re looking at this particular knife for whittling, you could either be a veteran carver or a beginner since this blade appeals to the masses in it’s quality.
The Flexcut cutting knife specializes in whittling projects. With its high carbon steel blade and out-of-the-box razor sharp edge, it makes cutting wood feel like shaving butter. The hand honed ergonimic ash handles offer a comfortable posture for your hand, even after using it for hours. It features a 1-1/8″ flexible blade making it optimal for medium to small whittling projects. With over 22+ customer reviews, it has been given a 4.5 out of 5 rating on Amazon. The product was approved so much that 86% gave it 4 stars or above. You’ll notice the affordable price, which seems pretty odd compared to others of it’s kind. I believe it has to do with the wood the handle is made out of since the blade is good quality, but when the handle is made out of cheaper wood it can cause problems which brings me to the disadvantages.
